I was born in Milano. I grew up in Garessio, in Vaprio d'Adda and in Vimercate. I obtained my Medical Degree in Milano. I was in the army for one year in Tarcento. After obtaining my M.D. Degree I worked about three years in San Francisco in the Brain Tumor Research Center, under the supervision of Prof. J.R. Fike.
I then moved to Hannover in Germany where I trained in Neurosurgery in the  Nordstadt Hospital under the supervision of Prof. M.Samii. I moved back to Italy in 2007 working in the Department of Neurosurgery of the  Brotzu Hospital.
I am now working as attending Neurosurgeon in Winterthur Switzerland at the Kantonspital.
